It was overcast when I arrived with a patch of blue sky occasionally...not great for photographs especially considering the heavy haze but with extremely limited time I wanted to get a quick flight registered.
I started my flight near the Statue of Liberty but with so many helicopters flying extremely low I decided not to venture out too far or very high limiting the shots I really hoped to capture. As always I had quite a few interested in the drone and marveled at the Phantom's abilities.
A couple of days later as I was returning to the airport to fly home I stopped by once again in beautiful lighting and prepared to launch at the train station and 9/11 memorial across from Manhattan but was stopped by a park ranger informing me they weren't allowed in any NJ State Parks...funny how I couldn't find this posted anywhere online!
