Basilica of Maxentius and Constantine
This is the largest structure in the Roman Forum and it still has its roof and three of its spectacular arches and vaults. The construction of this building started in 308 AD, when Rome was ruled by the Roman Emperor Maxentius, and was completed in 312-313 AD, during the reign of Constantine the Great. The basilica became a meeting house for the judicial or administrative council.
