Chris attended North Carolina State University and was selected by the Orlando Magic with the 9th pick of the 2nd round (36th overall) of the 1991 NBA Draft. He played with two other teams, the Boston Celtics and the Washington Bullets. He also played professionally in Italy, Turkey, Spain, and Germany.
Broughton High graduate Will Roach played for NC State's men's basketball team from 2000-2004. Roach was a fan favorite and three-time recipient of the team's Jon Speaks Award for "Best Teammate."
